BBC Radio Cumbria "Life Story"

Recording this was something I thought I'd hate, that my nerves and anxiety would get away with me but Caroline Robertson was such a good presenter, she got the best out of me. I managed to relax enough and it started to feel like I was chatting to a friend.

It was a hard-hitting life story that was first aired 15th October 2019 and again, more recently during lockdown. I just really hoped my story would touch someone and help them in some way.  It was worth making myself quite open and vulnerable.  The recordings aren't always online but I decided to be totally honest with my life, my struggles and disabilities. There have been many traumatic events in my life, but they can't hurt me anymore. I am just so grateful to be where I am right now. It's a complete dream come true moment when you sell your first painting.
